Civil Clubhouse/ Hong Kong Chinese Civil Servant’s Association

The heritage clubhouse site of the Hong Kong Chinese Civil Servants’ Association is to be redeveloped with a new annex building extending recreation and sports facilities. Having the longest history as a club of over 100 years in Hong Kong, the completed annex accessible from the existing clubhouse will provide inclusive facilities that accommodate members with special needs, as well as the general public of the neighbourhood.

The juxtaposition of the new annex against the heritage clubhouse creates a courtyard where social events could take place for the club members and/or members of the community, at the same time enabling improvement of the accessibility of the whole complex to be implemented.
