Infill Mezzanine/ South Island School

The narrow infill site of South Island School provided opportunity for a hanging mezzanine structure, which serves as the female changing room for the swimming pool. Merged with one of the existing building block, the mezzanine is tucked in the double volume ceiling soffit next to the School’s main entrance with a camouflaged exterior to blend in the existing setting at the highest degree. The interior is accented with shades of blue and green resembling the coolness of the pool.
