Sunlight Workshop/ St. James’ Settlement

Located at ground floor of a social facilities building, the Workshop is designed to bring in ample of sunlight at the same time creating an industrial outlook to stimulate motivation and innovativeness of users. Sunlight is permeated into the interior through a large screen wall made with yellow stain glass, amplifying a sense of warmth and happiness. Instead of conventional wall finishes materials, recycled materials have been used, such as wine boxes and rusty metal, to realize the “Up-cycling” objective of the workshop production lines. The whole Workshop is designed accessible to people with special needs.
