Foyer to the Community/ Asbury Methodist Social Service

As part of a religious, historical building, the community centre is remodeled to amalgamate the contemporary and the historic with the emphasis on the preservation of collective memories. New fixtures, such as glazed signs and operable partitions, appear as translucent layers over historical features. Vibrant colours are introduced to accentuate commemorated elements. Function rooms for varied age groups are given different textural motifs in defining various functional purposes.
